Forming young disciples.

Using the Chosen Program, small groups, times of prayer, and taking an active part in the community life, the teens will be prepared both intellectually and spiritually to receive the Sacrament of Confirmation and to become lifelong disciples of Christ.

LifeTeen is for freshmen in high school and it is a fun time to grow before confirmation. This year is a wonderful time of making new friends, joining in the life of the parish, growing in prayer and coming to know and love the Lord more and to walk with Him through the first year of High School.

EDGE presents the Catholic faith using the relational ministry model. EDGE is hands on, and allows the youth to be involved in their faith formation. Middle School can be a challenging time in life, through EDGE we seek to accompany the youth through these years and to help them to come into relationship with the person of Christ.

A-Team, is made up of the Confirmed teens of the parish. Called to the Apostolic Mission to make disciples of all nations, these teens assist in LifeTeen and Confirmation as well as continuing their own formation as faithful followers of Christ.

"Mercy has a youthful face." – Pope Francis

Our Mission: To invite youth into an encounter with Christ and to live as disciples in the Church and in the world.
Go therefore and make disciples of all nations...

St. Ignatius Youth Ministry seeks to bring it's teens, volunteers, and catechists to an encounter with the living presence of Jesus in all that we do.

Youth Ministry at St. Ignatius Loyola has been around since the parish was founded in the early 1990's. At that time, it consisted of one group of about 40 students meeting on one night a week to play games and talk about issues of the day. In 1997, we met in the "then" narthex of the old church, which is now the meeting room at the front of the Christus Center. We began attending Diocesan Youth Rally's which are now the AYC.  We began Workcamps as well. In the first Workcamp, we had 15 high school students attend.

The ministry has grown leaps and bounds since then!
